NOT BECAUSE I'M GRADUATING BUT BECAUSE MOM WANTS ME TO WEAR HIGH HIGH HEELS AND AT GRADUATION WE HAFTA WALK UP STAIRS THAT AREN'T ATTACHED TO ANYTHING OPPOSED TO THE STAIRS THAT ARE THERE AND IN MY OPINION TEN TIMES SAFER
BUT THE SAFER STAIRS ARE ON THE SIDES WHERE EVERYONE CAN KINDA SEE
AND IN MY SCHOOL EVERYONE NEEDS TO SEE YOU FALL UP/DOWN THE STAIRS SO THEY USE UNSAFE STAIRS THAT'S IN DEAD CENTER OF THE STAGE

oh and get this
Monday dad brought me to mom's house real early in the morning
and I had went to bed at like 5am that night so I only got at least an hour of sleep
so I get to my house at around 9
called my mom to tell her I was home
mind you I'm half asleep when doing this
so right when I was gonna hang up she goes
"Oh btw did you know your cousin got stabbed?"
...
not exactly something I wanted to hear when I'm home alone at 9 in the morning when I'm tired as shit and live next door to a creepy old guy
apparently his friend was getting beat up so he went in to help him
that's when some kid pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the stomach
but he thought he just got punched so he didn't really notice until later when he was still feeling pain
he's okay now
but still
I used to live by him and I have a lot of relatives who live near him (young and old)
so it's a scary thought

but what REALLY unerved me is how casually my mom told me over the phone
